Anderson is known as the creator and marketer of some of the world’s most successful brands, and believes in creating compelling experiences that capture the hearts, minds, and wallets of consumers.  Prior to the formation of Halcyon, Anderson served as the owner of In The Mix, a highly successful marketing and advertising firm.  Anderson also owned Epiphany, a marketing and communications agency.  At In the Mix and Epiphany, he spearheaded strategic campaigns for some of the worlds leading luxury brands, including LVMH, Alexander McQueen, Guerlain, Conde Nast, Unilever, Playboy Enterprises, Diesel, M.A.C Cosmetics, Aveda, Dove, Michele Weston, and the successful launch of Mode Magazine, which triggered the rapid expansion of the women's fuller figure market.  Anderson was also instrumental in the development of the contemporary apparel market through the repositioning of BCBG Max Azria, where he was responsible for growing the company from $30 million to $240 million as well as development and roll-out for both BCBG and Aveda.

Anderson currently sits on the board of the Peace Alliance, an initiative to pass legislation to create a United States Department of Peace.  Anderson lives in Los Angeles and New York City.
