RANDOLPH PAUL
COO, THE HALCYON COMPANY

Randolph Paul is COO of The Halcyon Company, working with co-founders and co-CEOs Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson.  Paul will actively report on day-to-day operations, manage and develop industry relationships, negotiate studio and industry deals, manage co-financed and co-production endeavors and oversee Halcyon’s business operations.

Paul has garnered extensive experience in the entertainment industry, having been present at the start of Miramax Films in the 1980s, Sovereign Pictures in the early 1990s, and Cinergi Productions shortly thereafter.  Paul previously served as an entertainment attorney and company shareholder of Greenberg Traurig as a specialist in technology, media and telecommunications.   

Paul additionally represented producers in connection with the development, financing, production, distribution, and exploitation of such films as Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Tombstone, Renaissance Man, Nixon, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Evita, Sex, Lies and Videotape, The Grifters, My Left Foot, Cinema Paradiso, Scandal, and others.

Paul graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and is a member of the Independent Producers Association and Trustee for the Idylwild Arts Foundation.  He is based in the Los Angeles headquarters of The Halcyon Company.
